The Chicago Hip-Hop History Project is a collaborative research project between the School of Theatre & Music at UIC and The Chicago Hip-Hop Heritage Museum and is supported by the 2024 UIC Award for Creative Activity and The Chancellor’s Undergraduate Research Award. Our mission is to produce digital resources for studying Chicago-based hip-hop music and culture.
