The Chicago Hip-Hop History Project is an ongoing effort to document and preserve the people, places, events, and stories that have shaped Chicago’s hip-hop culture. Built on the Semantic MediaWiki platform, the project serves as a starting point for researchers, students, and community members interested in exploring and expanding the history of Chicago hip-hop.
This project was launched in 2024 with support from The 2024 UIC Awards for Creative Activity
