Freddie Latrice Wilson (stage name: The Saint) was a rapper from Chicago’s West Side who was fatally shot by police during a traffic stop in 2007.[1] In 2014 the Chicago City Council approved a $4.5 million settlement to his family after investigation revealed that 18 of 24 shots fired by police struck him.[2]
