Each page of this site presents concise, factual information on an entity or concept related to Chicago hip-hop history and is intended to be a starting point for further research.

One of our major efforts is to describe the scope of scholarship on this subject currently published on Wikipedia, count and evaluate references, identify gaps and bias in the information and submit edits to Wikipedia itself in addition to this site.
