Che Armond Smith (Born July 6,1977), known professionally as Rhymefest, is an American rapper and songwriter from Chicago, Illinois.[1]There is a Wikipedia article. He is best known for his collaborations with Common and John Legend with Glory, which earned both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for Best Original Song.[2] As a solo artist, Rhymefest released his debut album Blue Collar in 2006 through Mark Ronson’s Allido Records, an imprint of J Records.[3]
