Triple Darkness was an underground hip-hop group from Chicago, Illinois, active from the late 1990s through the 2000s. The group consisted of DaWreck, Trick, and Hanius and became known for its hard-edged sound and presence in Chicago’s independent rap community.[1] They released their first EP in 1999 and went on to drop several independent projects that circulated locally and through collectors.[2] DaWreck later gained broader recognition through production work and his appearance in the documentary Midway: The Story of Chicago Hip-Hop.[3]
