Dexter Tiewon Gore Jr. (born on September 6, 1993), professionally known as Famous Dex, is an emcee in Chicago, Illinois. There is a Wikipedia article for this subject. Originally from Harlem, New York, he later moved to and was raised in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood. He began pursuing music seriously after the death of his mother in 2014.

Dex rose to prominence with self-released mixtapes in 2015 and 2016, including Never Seen It Coming and Drippy. In 2016, he signed to Rich the Kid’s label, Rich Forever Music, and collaborated on the Rich Forever mixtape series. His debut studio album, Dex Meets Dexter (2018), reached number 12 on the Billboard 200 and featured hit singles “Pick It Up” (featuring ASAP Rocky) and “Japan,” which charted on the Billboard Hot 100.

He continued to release music in the following years, including the Dexter 2031 EP (2019) and the album Diana (2020). Throughout his career, Dex has collaborated with artists such as Lil Baby, Tyga, Fivio Foreign, and Rich the Kid.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
