Welcome to the Chicago Hip-Hop History Project's (CHHHP) Encyclopedia of Chicago Hip-Hop, built to collect and share information about all aspects of Chicago hip-hop culture. This project is designed to help students, researchers, and the public learn about the rich history of Chicago hip-hop.

The CHHHP team administers the information in the wiki and adheres to the five pillars of WikiEditing. You are encouraged to use the links below to browse by category, search using the bar at the top of the page, or browse all pages.

This project is a Semantic MediaWiki, which is built on the same platform as Wikipedia but includes a semantic extension that allows properties (variables) to be stored in a database and queried to produce analytical information.
