Formed by Toni Basil and Don "Campbellock" Campbell in L.A. in 1971, the Lockers were a dance group featuring Chicago native Shabba Doo, whose debut to the world was on Soul Train in 1970 in Chicago.[1] Shabba Doo's street dancing style was a major influence to the Locker's dacing style.
