D2 Tha's
D2 Tha's, also known as Dedicated to Tha Streets, was a hip hop duo from Chicago, Illinois. This duo consists of rapper Trevor Caston (known as Kay-Tone) and producer Samuel Lindley (known as The Legendary Traxster). Both were also members of the Chicago rap collective Ill State Assassins, which included artists such as E.C. Illa, Cayex, Chainsaw, Toxic, and D. Villa.
The group was active from 1993 to 1999 and gained local recognition during the 1990s for their street-oriented sound and lyrical content. They rose to prominence following a public feud with Treach of Naughty By Nature, most notably through their diss track “Dissing These Fools”, which became a staple in Chicago's underground hip hop scene.
After the group’s disbandment, Traxster went on to achieve success as a producer. Kay-Tone withdrew from the public eye in the late 1990s and passed away in 2010 due to complications from asthma. The group released music under several labels, including Creators Way Records, Deathwatch Records, Deep Dish Records, and Under Cover Productions.
