Mauri Maldonado, professionally known as DJ Moz Definite is a disc jockey from Chicago, Illinois. He began DJing at age 10, heavily influenced by his cousin who provided early access to equipment and training. Throughout his career, DJ Moz Definite has worked with notable figures and organizations, including Andre Lopez of Hot Jams Records and No Name Entertainment DJs. In the early 1990s, he became the first event organizer to bring freestyle artist Judy Torres to Chicago and helped promote local acts such as Latin Soul.

He has held roles as DJ, producer, remixer, and marketing director for ATB Promo and Jaguar Entertainment, and is a member of several hip hop collectives including Zulu Nation, Renegades of Funk (Alpha Zulus), Chi-Rock Nation, and Armory Massive DJ Team. He is also cofounder of the Intel Music Group.

DJ Moz Definite has competed in various DJ battles, including DMC, and has won competitions such as Battle of the DJs at Wild Hare, Kool Mixx, Guitar Center, and the 2014 Battle of the Scratch DJs. He has performed for artists such as Twista, Nas, Fat Joe, Noreaga, Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa, and Camp Lo, among others. He currently serves as the official DJ for Ang 13, Army of TWO, and MC Longshot.

He has also been a resident DJ for radio stations including WCRX 88.1, WCYC/WRTE 90.5, WHPK 88.5, and Power Style Radio. He serves as the musical director for the Free 99 DJ Workshops with Kuumba Lynx, an arts-based youth organization.

DJ Moz Definite has worked as a brand ambassador DJ for Adidas, Puma, Nike, and Under Armour, and is the official DJ for Chicago-based clothing brands Iridium and Kings Without Crowns.[1][2]
