Lindy Hop

Born in 1920s Harlem, the Lindy Hop is a fusion of popular dances from the swing era of dance and preceding such as tap and the Charleston. It combines elements of both partnered and solo dancing from African-American dances, along with the eight-count structure of European partner dances.
