✶✶✶✶ The Chicago Hip-Hop Knowledge Base ✶✶✶✶

Welcome to the Chicago Hip-Hop Knowledge Base (CHHKB), a specialized wiki designed to provide a comprehensive and organized overview of Chicago hip-hop history. Our pages present concise, factual information designed to be a starting point for research. We aim to offer data and information that will provide context and connections for all elements of Chicago hip-hop history.

Launched in 2024 with support from UIC and in collaboration with the Chicago Hip-Hop Heritage Museum, this project has so far published information on hundreds of emcees, DJs, street dancers, graffiti writers and many others members of the Chicago hip-hop community.

You can begin using the knowledge base by browsing through categories using the links below, by searching for an artist, song, etc. or by browsing a list of all pages.
