G Herbo
G Herbo (born Herbert Randall Wright III on October 8, 1995) is an emcee from Chicago, Illinois. He began his career by signing with Machine Entertainment Group at age 16 in 2011. G Herbo released several mixtapes including Welcome to Fazoland (2014), Pistol P Project (2014), Ballin Like I'm Kobe (2015), and Strictly 4 My Fans (2016). His debut studio album, Humble Beast (2017), received critical acclaim.
He later signed a joint deal with Epic Records and released the collaborative album Swervo (2018) with producer Southside, followed by its sequel Still Swervin (2019). His albums PTSD (2020), 25 (2021), and Survivor's Remorse (2022) all reached the top ten on the Billboard 200, with 25 marking his first release under Republic Records.
G Herbo grew up in Chicago and attended Hyde Park Academy High School but dropped out at age 16. His music is influenced by artists such as Meek Mill, Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti, and Lil Wayne. He is closely associated with fellow rapper Lil Bibby, with whom he has collaborated frequently. Both are linked to the group N.L.M.B., which originated from the merger of factions of Chicago street organizations but is described by G Herbo as more of a brotherhood than a gang.[1][2][3][4][5]
