The Chicago Hip-Hop History Project: Inclusion Criteria

The initial population subjects included in the encyclopedia came from four sources:

  • A poster at the Chicago Hip-Hop Heritage Museum which includes 155 names.
  • The WHPK-FM Hip-Hop Hall of Fame Plaque in the archives of the Chicago Hip-Hop Heritage Museum which lists 301 names.
