Army of 2

Army of 2 (also stylized as Army of Two) is a Midwest-based hip-hop duo composed of emcees Ang13 and LongShot. The group formed as a collaborative project that merges the artists’ individual styles into a unified approach rooted in hardcore, boom-bap hip-hop with an emphasis on lyricism. LongShot has roots in Chicago, while Ang13 is also active as a DJ and graffiti writer.

Army of 2 is known for lyrically driven tracks that engage with themes of resilience, identity, and hip-hop culture. Their catalog includes songs such as “Crank It,” “Beware,” and *I’m Not a N****r*.

The duo released multiple independent projects between 2021 and 2024, including *Best of Me*, *Drug Music*, and *Stay Strong*. In 2024, they continued their output with new releases, including the single “Beware.” Army of 2 maintains an active presence within the underground hip-hop scene and shares updates through social media under the handle @armyof2_la13.
