Matthew Grove, better known as Matlock is a rapper from Chicago. There is no Wikipedia article for this subject. Matlock’s started out on the “Time Travel Show” on local college radio station WNUR, where he soon became a regular. He independently released Crazy Artist Type (on cassette) in 1999 and Paradise Lost in 2001. He worked with E.C. Illa, who he worked with on an unreleased song Strugglin produced by Kanye West. Matlock is nominated for Chicago indie artist of the year by the Chicago Tribune & MetroMix.com. He is signed to Gravel Records.[1]
