Kanye West
Kanye Omari West (born June 8, 1977), professionally known as Ye or Kanye West, is a rapper and producer from Chicago, Illinois. [1] There is a Wikipedia article for this subject. West first gained recognition producing for artists on Roc-A-Fella Records in the early 2000s, contributing to hits for Jay-Z and others.[2] He launched his solo career with The College Dropout (2004)[3], loved by critics for its creativity and successful with audiences, selling many copies and charting high. Over the following years, West released several genre-defining albums, including Late Registration (2005), Graduation (2007), 808s & Heartbreak (2008), and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010).[4][5]
