Abdur Rahmaan, professionally known as D-Vo-D, is an emcee from Chicago, Illinois. He transitioned from creating street-oriented music to focusing on Dawah rap—a form of hip hop that incorporates Islamic teachings and promotes positive messaging. While maintaining an urban style, D-Vo-D uses his platform to share content rooted in faith and community values. His work has become a family effort, involving his three sons in various aspects of the creative process. From production to distribution, they collaborate on projects, united by a shared passion for music.
